School Curriculum

For the 2012-2013 academic school year, Garden Hills will be implementing the new Common Core Georgia Performance Standards. These new standards are more rigorous than the former state standards and make APS part of the nationwide effort to standardize instruction to improve national competitiveness on the global educational field. The teachers at each grade level will continue to work hard to incorporate the new standards into their IB Units of Inquiry to ensure a seamless curriculum that meets the needs of the variety of learners in the classroom.
