| Volunteer Opportunities
Parent involvement is essential to the success of our school. There are endless volunteer opportunities during each
school each year. You can help in your child’s classroom or resource room or volunteer to assist in a school or PTA event.
The following areas are in need of volunteers for the 2007-2008 school year.
2007-2008 PTA Opportunities
The PTA is looking for inspired parents to fill the following roles:

| Book Fair: |
help with set-up, sales or clean-up of the Book Fair held in November. |
| Candy Sales/Distribution: |
help is needed to coordinate and distribute the candy items ordered by students & parents (starting now thru December). |
| Fun Run: |
help is needed with organization and ‘crowd control’ of the Atlanta International School & Garden Hills Elementary Fun Run fundraiser held Sept. 29 at 8:00am |
| Grounds: |
help to beautify and clean up the school grounds. Hands on Atlanta day is October 6th. |
| Int’l Dinner/Festival: |
help with the organization and activities of the dinner/festival held in the November. |
| Int’l Baccalaureate (IB): |
help with promoting IB and supporting the staff with the IB effort. |
| School Tours: |
help is needed to beautify the school, and for setting up and guiding visitors through the school. |
| Science & Social Science Fair: |
help is needed for the science event held before Thanksgiving break. Contact Ms. Scott for more information. |
| T-Shirt Sales: |
help is needed to advertise, sell and distribute the school T-shirts held in August & September. |
