On behalf of all of us at Garden Hills Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to our website. Established in 1938, Garden Hills Elementary School serves historic Buckhead neighborhoods including Garden Hills, Peachtree Park, Peachtree Heights, Martin Manor, Pine Hills and the much anticipated upcoming Streets of Buckhead.

Garden Hills Elementary School has a long and distinguished history of service to our children and families. As the first public school in Georgia to become an Authorized International Baccalaureate School, we focus on a curriculum that is inquiry based and focusing on developing student character. We believe that academic performance is critical, but we also emphasize citizenship, character development, and international-mindedness, as evidenced through our International Baccalaureate Program.

It is our goal to deliver the very best instructional program possible to our students and our faculty and staff are committed to providing an excellent education to all students at Garden Hills. Our curriculum is extensive, including effective student assistance programs, tutoring, and a variety of enrichment opportunities.

Strong parental and community support enhances the quality of education at Garden Hills. We hope you will visit the school often.
